Faith church

Not to underestimate any of the other short term mission groups that have visited us, but just last week we hosted the most intense construction team we have ever met. The team was from Faith Church and they came from Indiana. Most of them had been here before to build the biggest structure in the whole "cuenca", so for weeks Jason furrow bragged about this team. We had no idea this team was going to work harder than what he had promised.

Here is a list of projects they finished within only 5 days:
  1. Poured and finished concrete sidewalk & steps in the library, bleachers, office, 2 car port, and Sarah & Jason's porch/car port
  2. Installed the office's roof and extended the activity center's roof
  3. Installed drop ceilings
  4. Painted (and cleaned) Sarah and Jason's house
  5. Clean and organize the library and storage

Office building before the team started

After day 1: the car port and office roof were installed and some office floors poured

After day 2: Car port and office floors finished, activity center roof extended, and blocks laid for bleachers
After day 3: first tear of steps poured and sidewalks framed

After day 4 & 5: Sarah and Jason's house finished and sidewalks finished. Library and storage cleaned organized

The "Faith" team after their last day of work

This team was all about working hard, as hard as they can. They were very focused to finish all the projects we had planned; and they surpassed all of our expectations.
Thank you Faith Church!
