A Forced Vacation

Since we are not residents of this beautiful country we have to leave the country every 90 days to renew our tourism visa. This time came last week. We decided to exit to Guatemala, since its close and relatively cheap to travel by land; the cost is just a few hundred dollars.
We left on Monday to San Pedro Sula (3-4 hours away) where we were dropped off at the bus terminal. At the bus terminal we were to take a shuttle to Copan, a very touristy town bordering Guatemala. With our limited experience we ended up taking a little school bus to another city but within the same state. Luckily there were shuttles there to our destination city.... this little hiccup just added a few hours to the trip. We spent the night at Copan and the next day we took another shuttle to Antigua Guatemala, about 6 to 7 hours.
Even with 2 days of traveling there and 2 days back our trip was a wonderful relaxing little vacation. We got to witness more of God's beautiful creation. Bellow are a few pictures of our trip

For those who were wondering how Kelly did with two straight days of travel.... she did amazing. At times she was a little restless and changing diapers in a bus is not the funnest activity, but she did so well. We couldnt ask for a more calm precious baby.
