As many of you know, the village where we are serving does not have internet or phone access, so for communication purposes we travel down to La Ceiba, the closest city with these amenities. Our journey down to la Ceiba starts at early morning taking a yellow school bus down the only dirt road. This trip takes the driver about three hours.... if he’s in a hurry! This means it would take us about six hours on the road plus waiting times, as the bus schedules can vary from 30 minutes to a couple hours, to come down to the city for a few hours of internet and phone usage. This method of travel is both unproductive for us, and the ministry
Our new year’s resolution is to improve our communication by cutting travel time in half. How do we do this? With a motorcycle.

Basically a motorcycle will enable us to:
- Cut travel time in half
- Eliminate waiting times
- Save money on bus fares, as gas for a motorcycle is minimal
- Back up transportation for the ministry
- Safety, as we will be able to return to town before nightfall.
We were offered a great price for a mountain terrain motorcycle that would be perfect for these purposes. The asking price is $1,100…. Very economical
We need your help to reach this New Year’s resolution. With your donation we can reach our goal in no time.
Also, if we can raise $500 in the next week, one of our very special supporters will match this amount.
Thanks for your gifts and encouragement
