First Fundraising Event

We had our first fundraising event in the beginning of June. We have felt an accomplishment as the nerves were high and we were unsure how everything would play out. We were definitely blessed to have the McCready family for support and guidance on both sponsoring the meal and helping organize the event. We thank God every day for this family coming into our lives.

During the event, we ended up meeting several individuals who are highly involved in our church (Emmanuel Christian Center) and they offered great support in wisdom and other blessings. We were fortunate enough to have Paul speak about our lives and how our gifts would be utilized in GH2K. Then Monica and I got the chance to speak from our hearts about our first experience visiting the orphanage and the excitement we are currently experiencing as we are preparing ourselves to move to Honduras.

We can't thank everyone enough for taking the time off from their busy schedules to come and listen to what God has placed in our lives.
